Apple iPhone 12 Series dummy leaked

The iPhone 12 series is predicted to be announced sometime in October if a current leak through tipster Jon Prosser is to be believed. ahead of the release event, a few photographs have leaked out showing dummy devices of the 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 pro models. The images were supplied by means of a case maker and were spotted through 9to5Mac on an Apple fan community page HaAppelistim. The pictures reaffirm the flat-side design of the imminent iPhone 12 models, which bears similarities to the iPhone 4.

It seems Apple is actually going with the flat-edge layout in preference to the curved design that we have been seeing since the iPhone 6 series. The boxy design is also much like the 2018 and 2020 iPad pro models, so there appears to be some sense of uniformity being applied between the 2 product categories.

The iPhone 12 series is said to consist of a 5.4-inch version (iPhone 12), two 6.1-inch models (iPhone 12 Max and iPhone 12 pro), and a 6.7-inch version (iPhone 12 pro Max). The pictures further show the square-shaped camera modules on all 4 dummy devices. The normal iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max are said to come with a dual-camera setup, while the iPhone 11 pro and 11 pro Max models are expected to get a triple-camera setup with a LiDAR sensor.

The iPhone 12 series release event is rumoured to take place inside the 42nd week, which commences from October 12th. All four models are anticipated to get the typical wide-notch display. The iPhone 12 lineup will come with 5G support and the latest A14 Bionic chipset, going by means of reports up to now.
