Apple is predicted to launch as many as four iPhone 12 models later this year, all of which can reportedly support 5G. thanks to 5G support on board, these iPhones are expected to return with higher-than-usual prices. As per a replacement Wedbush Securities report, Apple may launch 4G-only versions of the iPhone 12 in early 2021 with cheaper price tags. The firm, which initially reported that the Cupertino-based firm will launch a mixture of 4G and 5G-versions of its iPhone 12 this fall, is revising the prediction based after its most up-to-date Asia supply chain checks.
Business Insider reports that the 4G-only iPhone 12 models are going to be unveiled sometime around February. The variant will, of course, be cheaper than the 5G iPhone 12 models. Wedbush financial analyst Daniel Ives predicts that Apple could price the non-5G iPhone at around $800 (approx Rs 60,000).
Apple is probably going to cost a couple of 5G iPhone 12 models below $1,000 (~Rs 75,000), while others might be priced almost like iPhone 11 Pro. “Price points are going to be aggressive as Apple goes after their broader customer base,” Ives said. “Especially during a recession, during a COVID-19 backdrop, they have to form sure they’re hitting all price categories.”

The face ID sensor is predicted to urge a wider field of view and therefore the handsets should support a minimum of 18W fast-charging.
