Tentative launch dates and availability details for the iPhone 12 series, new iPad and Apple Watch models are revealed by well-known Apple tipster Jon Prosser. In line with past reports, Prosser said the iPhone 12 series will get a late release this year. The tipster notes the iPhone 12 event will happen within the 42nd week, which commences from October 12th. Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 models will start round the same time, while the delivery may start after October 19th. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro models will go up for pre-orders only in November.

As for brand spanking new Apple Watch and iPad, Prosser said that Apple may announce them via press releases within the week ranging from September 7th. The tipster added, “with the staggered release of iPhone 12 and uncertainty of ultimate dates for professional models, there’s an opportunity that the dates could slip/change.” So take the news with a grain of salt.
In related news, it’s being speculated that Apple may launch only 5G models of iPhone 12 series this year. the marginally affordable 4G iPhone 12 lineup will reportedly launch early next year. The handsets are tipped to be priced at around $800 (approx Rs 60,000), while their 5G versions will accompany a sub-$1,000 (~Rs 75,000) tag for the bottom variant.
Coming to the specifications, this year’s iPhone 12 series is claimed to incorporate four models.
