Google launched 'People Card' in India

 Google has launched a brand new feature in India called ‘People Card’. The feature allows individuals to make their digital profile or a virtual visiting card which will feature on Google Search. The profile are going to be almost like a visiting card where users can highlight their existing websites, social media profiles, and get in touch with details, which can show up when someone looks up your name on the search engine. “The new feature is aimed toward helping the many individuals, influencers, entrepreneurs, prospective employees, self-employed people, freelancers, or anyone else out there who wants to be discovered and help the people find them,” Google said during a blog post.


People Card are often created by anyone after signing in to your Google account. It’s worth mentioning that the method requires your telephone number for verification. Proceed as long as you’re willing to share that.


How to create People Card:


1.Creating a people Card on Google may be a very simple procedure. All you would like to do is sign-in to your Google Account and look for “add me to Search”. this may prompt the web site to invite your details with the choice “Add yourself to Google Search.”

2.Tap that prompt to form people Card by uploading your image, adding a bio, and links to social media profiles, among other details. then , you’ll be asked to provide your phone number which will be verified through a six-digit unique code to start the process.

3.You can choose whether to form your mobile number and email ID publicly available or not. Google may ask other details for verifications too. Once you’re through with that your people card are going to be created, which can feature on top of the results.


“To confirm people find helpful and reliable information, Google has put together a spread of protections and controls to take care of the standard of data on the people card,” as per Google. These protections include allowing just one people card per Google account, a singular phone number for every account, an choice to opt-out of the feature, and a feedback button.
