A new Vivo smartphone with the model number V2131A has popped up on the 3C listing a day after iQOO Z5 was announced in China. This mysterious new device sporting the model number V2131A had earlier popped up on the IMEI database and is likely to be christened the iQOO Z5x. The V2131A smartphone has received 3C certification (via MySmartPrice) and the listing reveals that it would be a 5G device with fast charging support. The smartphone with model number V2131A was earlier spotted on Google Play Console alongside another smartphone with a model number V2130A. This listing suggested that both these devices will be powered by a Dimensity 900 chipset from Mediatek coupled with 8GB of RAM, feature an FHD+ display with a punch-hole selfie camera housing, and will run on Android 11.

The iQOO Z5 comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ display and features a 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also houses the 16MP front camera in a punch hole cut out. At the back, the iQOO Z5 gets a 64MP primary sensor with LED flash, an 8MP wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The iQOO Z5 is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC from Qualcomm and is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The storage is further expandable via a micro-SD card. The iQOO Z5 draws juice from a 5000mAh battery that is capable of 44W fast charging.
The iQOO Z5 runs on Funtouch OS based on Android 11. iQOO plans to launch the iQOO Z5 in India on September 27th. Prices for the iQOO Z5 start at RMB 1899 (approx Rs 21,600) for the 8GB+128GB. The device will be offered in three colour variants - Blue Origin, Morning Light, and Dream Space. In India, the iQOO Z5 range will likely start at around Rs 25,000.
