HUAWEI to announce Harmony OS for mobile phones soon

Huawei knows the longer term path to Google Services could be non-existent even with a new US President, therefore the company goes full ahead with its own Harmony OS.
According to Wang Chenglu, the president of the software department at Huawei Consumer Business Group, the open-source platform are going to be available to developers around December 18 and therefore the first demo units will run the OS by January or February 2021 according to them.

Dr. Wang revealed all the workers at Huawei are working towards building a replacement ecosystem round the Harmony idea then far everything goes consistent with plan. When the initial reports come within the first quarter of 2021, the general public beta should launch around April 2021.

The executive said around 90% of the corporate smartphones should be ready for an update, once there's an update to push. there's a minor chance the united states might soften its stance and permit Google to figure with Huawei but the truth is that we’re heading for a serious shift within the world of smartphones where we could see three big players on the OS field a bit like the old days of 2012-2015.
