At the start of September, Honor announced its latest smartwatch offerings with the Watch GS Pro and Watch ES. The GS Pro may be a proper rugged offering that targets hikers and outdoor lovers while the ES aims to entice buyers with its affordable price and week-long battery life.
Both new Honor watches will launch in India on October 8 at 12PM IST as confirmed by the brand’s Twitter profile and amazon availability.
The Watch GS Pro features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, MIL-STD-810G rating and 5ATM water resistance packed during a reinforced polycarbonate casing. There’s sleep,blood oxygen and pulse tracking also as on-board GPS and A battery that lasts for over two weeks with typical usage. Which retail in Europe at €250 which roughly translates to INR 21,470. Exact pricing are going to be unveiled at the launch event.
Watch ES retails for €99.90 in Europe, the equivalent of $116/INR 8,580. It cannot install aftermarket apps so you’re cursed with the pre-installed Huawei offerings though they provide all the essentials you would like . There’s a built-in Virtual Coach that comes with step-by-step workout instructions for your daily need. The Watch ES comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with always-on functionality, heart rate reader and blood oxygen tracking and its battery easily lasts up to 10 days with active usage.
