QUALCOMM announces Snapdragon 732G

Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon 732G Mobile Platform as a successor to the Snapdragon 730G chipset from last year. The San Diego chipmaker is highlighting improvements to gaming, faster AI (AI), and upgraded GPU and CPU performance compared to the previous generation. Snapdragon 732G is provided with Kyro 470 CPU and Adreno 618 GPU. It also enables select Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming Experience for realistic gameplay and features 4th generation Ai Engine. However, the chipset features Snapdragon X15 LTE Modem and doesn't have 5G connectivity.


POCO has announced that it'll be the primary brand to launch a phone with Snapdragon 732G Mobile Platform and this could find its thanks to the Indian market. Manmohan Chandolu, head , POCO India, said, "We believe the device will set a replacement benchmark within the mid-range category, completely redefining the connection between a phone's price and its capabilities. We're thrilled to be working once more with Qualcomm Technologies to bring a classy user experience for our users with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G Mobile Platform. We're hoping all our fans, especially the gaming community, appreciate the offering."

Kedar Kondap, vice chairman of Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies said, "Snapdragon 732G will deliver a strong gaming experience, sophisticated on-device AI, and superior performance. We're excited to figure with POCO on the new POCO smartphone powered by the improved Snapdragon 732G globally."
