Oneplus TV Features Teased by Pete Lau

Oneplus, when we hear that name we think about the budget flagship and flagship phones in our mind. But when they entered into the TV category by the launch of Q1 and Q1 pro. This category of Television is launched with target of  budget flagship customers which doesn't seems to be successful despite having good specs. So the company has launching it's new budget and mid-range category Television's in India on 2nd July.

The features of the Television is also teased by the company CEO Pete Lau. According to that the company's main focus was picture quality with DCI-P3 color gamut, Gamma Engine and Dolby vision.

Lau says that the upcoming Oneplis TV's will have a wide color gamut so as to offer a vivid display. Both the entry level and mid range TV's will have 93 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The company called this the cinematic display.

The mid range TV's from the company will offer the Gamma engine which also enhances the picture quality. Gamma engine uses processing enhancements such as super resolution, dynamic contrast, MEMC, color space mapping, anti-aliasing and noise reduction to offer sharper, clearer and smoother video experience.

In addition to this affordable Oneplus TV will offer the Dolby Vision. At a moment this is unclear that this feature will make it's way to entry level TV or not.

There is still much left about to know about the Television's and we expect more features will be revealed by company's CEO Pete Lau ahead the launch on 2nd July. The company has also teased the pricing to under Rs 20k.
