Apple iPhone SE 2020 DXO Mark score revealed

DxOMark has simply launched its assessment of the iPhone SE’s primary and selfie cameras. The iPhone SE has camera hardware equal to that of the iPhone XR. It’s a 12MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, OIS, and as much as 5X virtual zoom. In today’s standards, it’s a completely basic setup. in the meantime, the selfie camera is a 7MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and fixed focus lens.

Apple

overall, the iPhone SE does a excellent task in metering exposure and assessment. Apple’s automatic HDR is to thank for that. it works nicely for both indoor and outdoor photos, and controlled to show darks and shadows properly. colorings are a power for the iPhone SE. DxOMark mentioned well represented colour balance and on-point saturation.

Autofocus is powerful, quick, and constant, though sharpness is extra evident in low-light shots. Noise and texture is where DxOMark noticed weak spot inside the camera. The 12MP sensor is rivaled in recent times by means of higher-decision sensors (even in the budget area) that use pixel binning to lessen noise and enhance low-light performance. Noise and lack of detail is extra apparent on indoor or excessive-contrast pictures.

graphics from the primary camera and selfie camera are passable, but inconsistent. in the meantime, low-light pictures is not the iPhone SE’s strength. there may be no committed night shooting mode at the SE.
